Best AR Pistol Magazine?

I did a search and did not find much. The last thread on the topic got wonderfully derailed. So the question, who makes or what version is the best 10 round AR pistol mag?

I know of four different magazines and want to know how they compare. The ones I know of are the:

Grey RRA/LAR pistol mags made by ASC (I think)
Black w/ orange follower RRA/LAR pistol mags made by C Products
ATRS CAA Polymer magazine
Robinson Armament XCR-L Micro Pistol .223 10 Round Magazine

I am running a Bushmaster M17S which has the short mag well, meaning magazine length is relatively unimportant as a functional factor for me. I have three PCV Gen 2 .50 Beowulf magazines that do not work well with the M17S. They work just fine in everyone else's ARs and what have you, but do not insert or pull out easily in the M17S. My single Grey LAR works flawlessly as does the 5/30 OKAY Industries magazine that came with the rifle.

And a secondary question: are all the metal pistol magazines fully compatible with the USGI Magpul ranger plates?

I appreciate any help and advice I can get. I'm rather new to this Black Rifle thing, so my knowledge and experience in this field is limited. I fired my M17S today and I am very happy with it's performance.
 
I never got any of the first gen ATRS pistol mags to compare but I'll be sure to get the improved gen2 later on.

My pick from the rest would be the XCR Pistol mags. They drop free and feed perfectly without issues in my two AR15s. The first gen LAR15 mags sucked. They did not drop free and the ammo would get caught up in the front lip of the mag. Filing down the front helped fixed that issue. I'm told that there is a second gen of the LAR15 mags that resolved the earlier feeding issues. The XCR Pistol and LAR15 are both Magpul Ranger Plate friendly.
 
Well, the ATRS AT15 mags get my vote. Their second generation ones are expected to arrive very shortly. My Gen 1 mags fit and function flawlessly in everything I try them in. The body length works great for mag pouches.
 
Remember these ones (10/30's)? h ttp://practicalperformance.ca/shop/l-ar-2235-56-1030rd-pistol-mag/ pricey and now out of stock. I never tried them and don't know about their legality but I do remember a thread about them somewhere on CGN but my google-fu is letting me down.
 
I have been using the c products lar mags in my Tavor with only one issue, They really need to be forced in when they are full, and the bolt is forward. Other than that they are great.

I really want to pick up some of the 2nd gen ARTS mags though.

Yes they have, as the manufacturing company (CAA from Israel) has been stringing them along through moves and everything else under the sun. ATRS has just recently anounced that they are switching to a local manufacturer as a result and turn around time will be about a month or so.
 
Ok, lets put it this way; I am not interested in Beowulf Magazines unless they are no more than twice the price of Pistol magazines. $90 is triple to quadruple.
 
I just seen the New kel-tec PLR16 10 round pistol mag at my local shop. For $30 I Picked one up, seems to work awesome. Can load it full of 10 rounds and still insert on a closed bolt, unlike the LAR-15's. Now it is tight on the last round but so was my LAR-15 Mag at first. It feeds no problem with snapcaps and should work great on range. I like the fact that it is about a 20 round sized Mag so doesn't get lost in the mag pouch like a LAR-15's do. Will hopefully get some range time with it nest weekend.

My reasons would be:

- longer mag body lenght offers easier mag changes, a better & more standard fit in a PC, Chest Rig, Belt or whatever you want to use that day.
- polymer material offers a better grip than the metal bodied mag
- Support Canadian company
