Best AR's in Canada?

Never really got into AR's yet and been been considering getting my 1 and ONLY AR this summer, Most of the information I can find points towards colt AR's but their has to be some other decent higher end AR's. What's some to look at? Not looking to spend over 3000$ ish.

This will be my only one so I need to make it count.
 
Best for what exactly?

The ar market is massive and you really need to narrow down your requirements.

Any ar in the US you can pretty much get up here, its just a matter of availability or importing.
 
Well if your looking for a quality CANADIAN made AR15, go for a Colt Diemco SA20 or wait on the new MRR version coming out this summer. Support your local economy and keep a fellow Canuck employed. If you do your research you'll find that the Diemco's are made to exceed Nato specifications for the AR15 according to the US Government. So you can't go wrong with them.
 
No need to spend $3000...by all means get what you want, but I think it's safe to say more than $2k and your paying for a name as much as the quality.

2nd is a tight race: CC/diemaco and DD,BCM, LMT are all top notch products
3rd... to many to name

If you want quality don't but a norinco,or nea. Lots of quality with a proven track record for the 2000-2500 range
 
CC is good enough for just about every Brit unit that doesn't have to carry the SA 80 - SAS, SBS, SRR, Several units of RMC, Pathfinders, etc. Also the CF and the vast majority of police forces in Canada, Swedish Special Forces, the entire Dutch military and on and on.
 
I'm a Die hard Knights Armament fan! Best part is you buy it, and leave it alone, no need to upgrade anything besides optics. I saw a Tan one on the EE for $2k.

Never handled a Lantac, but would love to pick one up for a build, or complete gun sometime.

Now go get a Colt Canada/Diemaco, never look back and enjoy the rest of your life.
