I was just wondering from your experiences, what it will be considered 'best bang for the buck' rifle in .223 for under $500?

This refers to the overall look, fit&finish and accuracy as well.

Thanks

Stevens it is. At that price level nothing is going to knock your socks off in the fit finish department.

I hummed and hawed a few months back, and took the plunge on a Stevens .200.
Dont regret it at all.
you can play with bullets, powder and loads, give it a different paint job every season.
bed it, or leave it alone.
its the centre fire version of the 10/22, as you can swap out stock items at your own pace if you decide you feel the need at some point for after market parts.

Remington 700 sps Varmint at Chilliwack Dart and Tackle for only $629!!! I thoughtit was a good deal, I'm getting one. I'm so excited!!! They have 3 left.....

Fill the barrel channel with epoxy and arrow shafts.

Broken fishing rods, cut to fit the length of the forearm and glassed in, work great and are free! :D

Just plug the open ends with paper to keep the bedding from running inside the rods.

The 200 is easily the best budget banger in 223.
