Hey Nutz,

I'm sure this has been discussed already, but - if by some miracle your CFO issued you an ATC because there was a legitimate threat to your life, what restricted would you carry?

I'm not a Glock fanboy but since getting my new Glock 22 a month ago the thing just functions flawlessly. I'd probably go with that. I like it better than the fit of the 19.

If it was just as reliable (which I am sure it isn't) I'd go with my full size Operator 45. For more portability, the compact Kimber's are nice too.

I wouldn't carry the Browning that Hugh below has...slide issues.

While we're dreaming......

Under those circumstances I'd carry my 2nd gen Glock 22 .40 cal. Totally reliable. Easy to conceal. Easy to carry.

I've legally CCW Glocks previously, so I already have experience in that regard.

Hence my choice there.

NAA.

An aluminum K frame S&W model 12 Airweight. Only 20 ounces unloaded, holds six rounds of .38 Special +P HPs.

Factory S&W grips with a Tyler T adaptor.

It has the incredibly light and smooth S&W flat spring DA trigger pull and the light crisp SA as well.

I'd be a sucker for a Boberg L. Loaded up with +p 9mm you get a lot of persuasion in a small package. Secondly, I like unique and the Boberg is bleeding edge. My other choice would be my Nighthawk commander in .45.

i think id go with one of those M&P wheel guns in 357mag with the like 2" barrel, the ones with no external hammer.
light and small and pack a sledge hammer for punch.

What's the point of this thread? Can't do it in Canada...except for a very, very small number of people outside their jobs.

Yes and what's the point of your post? We're aware that we can't CCW but we'd like to mull over the various possibilties

I'd like to think that I'd be up for a full-on 1911 .45 or a Hi-power. But reality is if I were CCW id' probably get a polymer striker-fire like a P99 or an M&P9. Between those 2... probably the Walther.
