Best looking handgun? Leaving aside issues of functionality and reliability, and judging solely from the appearance of the basic firearm (rather than "embellishments" like engraving, plating, fancy grips and so on) I have always been firmly of the view that for sheer sleek "good looks" of a timeless sort, the Colt Model 1860 revolver with relatively uncommon fluted cylinder unquestionably beats anything else, including all "modern" revolvers and self-loading pistols, which are positively "clunky-looking" by comparison -

Although I don't own one, I kinda prefered the Remington 1861 Army [also fluted] because the top strap=frame strength in my mind. Having said that, I wouldn't turn my nose up at the Colt.

I've been lucky to know a fellow who collects colt revolvers, so I ran into him a few weeks ago and let me shoot his Anaconda just like yours. It had an amazing trigger. I also found .45 LC really enjoyable to shoot.

Yes they are a true pleasure to shoot indeed !!!
I'd like to add a .44 Anaconda to the family when I can spare a few $$$ and find one.
