I am constantly amazed, every time that I pick up my TT33 as to how slim and small it is next to one of my 1911s. You can still find war time Tokarevs in very good condition at inexpensive prices but I can't say the same about the ammo or parts. Ammo is expensive when you could find it and as for parts, most people will have to pony up for a parts gun. For those reasons I had also purchased one in 9mm. Norinco makes one in 9mm but the one that I decided on as one of my daily shooters is the Zastava m70a. It is truer to the original with only the grip being a bit longer. Norinco does this weird thing with the grip that I did not care too much for. The fit and finish for the m70a I find, is better than the Norinco and it's quality far exceeds its $200 price tag for a new pistol. I know a couple of people who has gone this route to keep their mil surps in good condition.
