Best non-clip fed semi?

Well if everyone has one, then maybe there's a reason for it.

Yeah...because they didn't think to buy one of these:

More accurate out of the box, smaller, lighter, cool factor with the blow-back slide is off the scale, clip goes in grip out of the way, did I mention the cool factor?:D

Both the 63 and 151 load through a 'teardrop' in the side of the stock. Loads much faster than loading a magazine.

I hear you on the Taurus; I was leary of my purchase, but the price was right so I took a gamble. And have been very happy with it.

The 63 was originally designed as the '03 for .22 Win Auto, so the design is over 100 years old. It was also in production for close to 60 years, then some Browning repros were made, then the Taurus. Originals fetch a big dollar, even shooters are snapped up greedily. Many writers have called it the best autoloading rifle.

Crash,
tube mags being faster in what sense? firing or loading?

CF
I find that loading is faster, and also shooting in the 151K i get 15 rounds of almost any brand they feed and fire reliably, in the 352Ka and 352Kb i get 7 or 10 depending on mag and its picky to copper plated, and is more prone to jams
