best nr black rifle?

nice chair orthoboy. My vote is Tavor, i have an XCR as well, and find myself with the TAR-21 nearly all the time. So fun and well balanced and reliable. Its effin great.

I borrowed the dude's sandbag next to me at the range. What a world of difference. Rested the barrel right in the bag notch.

Shot a Tavor for the first time yesteday...trigger wasn't as bad as I expectedand it felt very balanced shooting off hand. Was impressed.

I put the fab rail from Zahal on it and threw on a t-pod, works well for both off-hand and prone or bench. I think its going to stay there.

Good choice. Love the Tpod on my XCR. Might as well give it double duty. Looks like I'll have to drill a hole for my Fab Defense rail. Doesn't quite match up.

Any work on the MPA-556 lately? Should be a nice gun when it arrives in Canada. Seems like its just a modernized version of the AR-180

Got the right size but if anyone is interested, use your 5/32 inch drill bit. After that, simple to attach my T-Pod.
I think I'm about good for the moment.

Loving the Viking Tactics (by 5.11) sling. I keep a light right hand on the butt. It comes up to the ready position in a hot split second.

Well, if I may comment on the original question...

For most bang for buck, I vote for the Armalite AR180b...but for overall, it will be between the Tavor (arriving soon to my door) and my Expeditionary...will post results.

out of all the rifles I have owned and tried, none have been as smooth shooting and reliable as the HK's for a 223, well actually I lied, the swiss arms sniper was more accurate but given it's boat anchor status that may never get restored to NR it doesn't count.
