Best NR rifle

I have sl8, tavor and t97... Also had a vz58 sporter in .223.
I'd buy another sl8 any time.. Always could use 2. Tavor is nice but my wife doesn't like it.. And i haven't really had a chance to use the t97.

It all depends on what "best" "practical" use case the OPs is thinking to apply the NR gun to, the answer might affect the choice.

- Shooting gophers?
- Winning a Service Rifle match?
- Coyote in the bush?
- Grizzlies in the Rockies?
- Deer in the prairie?
- Shooting from a bench and not feel too outgunned by the bolt guy next table over?
- Clearing a room full of IPSC targets in the dark?
- Winning at a Keanu Reeve type 3-gun match?
- Taking selfies?
- Taking with you overseas to fight with the Kurds A-team merc style?
- Going John Wick to revenge your dog?
- Truck gun?
- Under the bed?

Can you imagine if the dough heads , made the AR 15 NR.
You could pick up a PSA for $600 and it would be 10 times better than all the over priced crap, in this thread. Lol

I sold my APC NR and bought restricted. It is perfect with aimpoint, as it was originally designed. I like it more than my 10" PWS AR. It just feels like all Swiss rifles, built to outlive its owner.

Yeah the stupid NR 18.5" rule ruins every black rifle I own :-( .But thats what happens when you are forced to live like a sheep under government control.

Well honestly, I am mix on the charging handle. To me the charging handle on an ar15 is one of its less attractive features. I just don't like the placement, but really I don't feel the MV charging handle is much better. The MV handle aldo more convenient, it also feel more in the way. Other point personally I would prefer a magpul bad lever to the provided ambi bolt release.

nah ,it wasn't available when I ordered. ( January)
I went all in,CFW barrel,KAC URX hand guard... FACK it, you only live once right..they told me 5or6 months..I'm gone past 7 now.
