Best Optics for a Colt Canada MRR 11.5"

I picked up a Colt Canada MRR 11.5" a few months ago and cannot decide on an optic. Iron, Red Dot, scope???? What do you think would be the best option for me that won't break the bank.

I'm not really looking to shoot over 200 yards.

Thank you.

A blast from the past :sniper: .If shooting at 200 yards, a scope would be your best , and most economical , option .

The current 1-6 has a very attractive price, assuming it's as high quality an optic as it seems to be. And it has (what I'm told is} a Call Of Duty style rapid aiming reticle!

Coool!

I'll post this update in the revived thread that's no longer dead too.

That reticle looks very similar to the ELCAN SpecterOS 3.0

SAI is owned by Armament Tech ( or AT owners) like Tangent Theta, and AT is the distributor of Elcan. AT has a lot of influence because they were run by some pretty good people in the SR and PR competition circus of the old days.

My guess is that the reticle is based on input from AT, which was earlier channeled to ELcan in their old Specter OS 3X sight ( you can see the SR influence input there, basically it is an Elcan M79 with internal adjustment mech and external knobs, right up the ally of the SR crowd back in 10 to 20 years ago.) So they re-employ the basic design to their own SAI line.

I've received the SAI 1-6 in question and I'm totally pleased with it, well worth the purchase price when measured against its potential and, right out of the box, the very high quality of its optics.
