On that we can agree and when you hear some of the thoughts on 30mm tubes, apparently the marketing teams are doing a good job.

Maybe the brightness and optical advantage with the 30mm scopes comes in the higher price ranged scopes.
When Bushnell discontinued the 6500 Elite 1.25X8X32 and a big surface had them @ 375.00 a piece plus a voucher of 75.00 each to be refunded by Bushnell, i bought the 6 last ones, ( at 300.00 a crack it is the deal of the century) and i have to say for a hunting scope it is one of the best, having a generous 5.5 inch eye relief, they just are great, i am keeping preciously those 6 scopes for my working rifles, got one on both my main hunting rifles for this year, a Scout Steyr 308 and a Benelli R1 338 mag... JP.


Bushnell may be cheap but those one must been made on a wenesday they are pretty good working tools... JP.My gaaaaaawd..........A Bushnell on high end rifles.........whoooooooooot..........and no one here to bash it.............
