Best place to buy .22 in bulk?

i think one of the site sponsors here mentioned they had some in, i cant recall which one, our situation on the west coast with 22 is much better this year then last year, seems every local store out here has a decent selection to chose from

Sail in Burlington has bricks of golden bullets $29.99. Don't think you can do much better these days.
dan

Done and done! $0.057 / round, sounds good to me! Thanks!

Is this your response to the rising cost of surplus ammo? What types of shooting will you do with the Ruger to keep things interesting?

Lol! I don't imagine I'll shoot .22 much. I bought this to get friends into shooting. I'll take them to the range and let them shoot a .22 then one of my TT-33's and DA P762, followed by my 1911 .45ACP. I figure it will make for a fun experience.

I've recently got into reloading .45ACP, 7.62x25,39, and 54r to keep things interesting.

Fishing World was selling Blazers for $40/brick which is a bit more but much better ammo.
Scott...

SFRC seems to have some CCI Blazers in stock 35$/500 so .07$ a pop.

Thanks guys! If my Ruger 22/45 Target doesn't shoot these cheap RGB's well, I'll go to Fishing world. The shipping cost of four boxes of ammo would likely negate the extra $5 a box from SFRC. And it's always nice to support your local shops. ;)

Yesterday I went to a small (and I mean pretty small) store just for fun. Its called Marty's electric in NB. Basically he just started to stock a small but good selection of firearms. (no online presence) very nice staff. While talking and asking a few questions, they say he can pretty much get anything I am looking for. I asked about surplus ammo, he said he only has 1 case of sks in stock but can get more if I want. Price was $250 so right on the mark of normal.

I saw a bucket - o -bullets so I grabbed it ($89.99) as it is in the normal for these. I get to the cash and he asks if I was a member of a range, and he gave me 10% off. total with tax 90.51 so 0.065c each.

I find that a lot of the smaller guys are very competitive with prices. Also I noticed he had a few odd ball things on the shelf (303 savage 2 boxes on hand) and a box of very strange to me (forget the caliber 45-70 maybe??) but was a very long rimmed case with a lead projectile.... he said he brought that in for an old timer.

Also had some good prices on firearms. Remington 870 for $418

45-70 government...

Yes very old close to 150 years by now. But still one of the best all around/versatile hunting rounds in north america. Lever guns are cool too :p

And can you say magnum research BFR in 45-70 :D
