Spare yourself the headache. Also check out many of our site sponser's like Trade Ex, Frontier or Marstar just to name a few.

The same usually goes for Lebaron's in Missisauga. They will really let you know that its inconvenient for them to show you several different ones, so you can pick out the one you want. Its hit or miss with who you deal with in there. Sometimes I have left feeling like I was treated properly, but other times I have left there without buying anything, when my intention was to buy a brand new gun from there, but ended up taking my money elsewhere, because I really got the feeling that they felt that they were doing me some kind of favor or something. In particular, one of there older employees is a real rude, guy with no people skills.

When I feel like I am not being treated right as a customer, I will shop somewhere else, even if it means I spend more money.

I got talked into Marstar, bad move, but if you are in BC go to Lever arms, they are great, they spend time with you, they answer emails and they are not rude. I havent even got my 2 SKS's yet and I #####ed and whined before he shipped so I'm sure I have a box of s**t coming. I have bought lots of stuff from Lever, they are the best in the Lower Mainland for surplus.

If you have the ability to go to a store front gun shop and pick your own rifle, then you will not be disapointed. Most people when buying a firearm do not have to be "Sold" they know what they want. At Leverarms the rifles are in glass cases that you can walk up to and inspect, when you see the ones that interest you ask to see them. I have never had a problem at Lever handling multipal SKS's.

Any Reason in particular?
I'm fairly new to this (having just got my PAL) and was gonna pick up one from Lever arms.
But now reading this forum I'm likely gonna go with Killercane.

Last time I walked into Lever arms I couldn’t believe the cocky arrogant attitudes on the people who work there. I thought maybe they where having a bad day or the guy was on his period. Try to get them to open a case to look at a gun? Nothing but a huge inconvenience. My hair was even combed not like my Avatar pic. Anyhow I decided to give them another chance and called there today. Same attitude, just as cocky as ever. I would not buy anything from them or even consider it. Wow this was great therapy. Lol

Is there a website for this guy? I see tradex has them for $169 and $189 for laminated. Can anyone beat that/ Sounds liek a steal to me. One question, is there any difference in waht mags these rifles take? Will a chinese rifle use the same mags as teh Russian ones?
