Best place to get an AR?

If you are in Edmonton, go see the guys at tier one armoury 8625- coronet road, one block south of argyll road.
They will custom build what ever you can afford or order in anything you may want.
They are extremely knowledgeable on the subject of black guns.
Open Tuesday 11:00am to 4:00pm. Thursday from 5:00pm to 9:00 pm and
Saturday from 11:00am to 5:00pm.
Good luck.

Thanks!

Have you considered the S&W M&P 15T or the Ruger SR556E?

Not when the CAD is under $0.90.

No. I know they are good brands but I'm not familiar with their reputation when it comes to ARs. I have decided to just stick with the Norc for now and then upgrade later when the wife's defenses are further weakened. lol

I just shot the Norc yesterday for the first time and went through 75 rounds of Norc .223 without a single hiccup. Finish is not perfect but I wasn't expecting it to be, same finish that I'm used to with the military M16s I've handled in ROTC so I guess that's part of why I wasn't so surprised. Haven't really handled a high end AR so maybe I don't know what I'm missing in terms of "fit and finish". Trigger pull is heavier than, say a Glock 17, but again, it's the first AR I've fired so I don't really know how to gauge it. Shot a decent group to 50 meters without me having to adjust the sights, so it seems it was zeroed out of the box. I will go to another range to zero at 25 meters so I can check it better as the range yesterday only allowed zero at 50 meters for a few rounds and then you have to actually go shoot at 100 meters. Anyway, overall, extremely happy for a $530 AR.
