Never used a bubble level.. just a metal ruler on angle between rain and bottom of scope.

I used a 2 foot level.Leveled the rifle then leveled the scope. I figured it would be more accurate than a 2" level.
I use the Segway level. Very good item. I will check with a plumb bob after, then on a neighbors window sill. I am a little anal I know... But a 1000+ rifle needs it. Don't discount your own eyes either. Look for level on the base, then the joining line on your rings to ensure your rifle is level, then look through the optic. Your eye has an excellent sense of level.
To my machinist eyes, this looks like a Fadal machining center... Am I right ?
