That along with the price of targets that use to cost $10 a box now $40 the game has taken real kick in the butt. I give you guys credit for hanging in there and keeping the sport alive not a easy task nowdays,

The average to shoot 100 clays at our club a few years ago, was about $30 in factory loads, and $20 in targets for a total of $50, but now it's more like $60 in ammunition, and $28 in targets, for $88 in total. That is a huge difference, and some club members have stopped coming out, due to the cost.

Rio makes a good shell. Score ammo has proven to be the dirtiest and least consistent shell I've ever used. Only consistent aspect of score ammo is poor patterns. Doesn't matter if its steel waterfowl loads for trap loads or feild loads.

Yep, I am a big fan of Rio.

We have a supplier trying to sell us Clever target loads for $125/flat which is about $2-3 less than any other load a available locally. None of us are familiar with Clever, so I am not sure how many of us will be placing an order.

Clevers have proven to be a good shell. Th higher end clevers brand are actually quite nice but the price climbs with performance

Clever shells are a solid product and quite popular around here.

Rem STS, Win AA, Fed Gold Metal are good if you got the cash if you don't most everything else is OK .

Good to hear, I will likely order some for sporting clays, as I used up the last f my AA last year, and my stock of Nitro/STS is not going to make it through the sporting clays season.
