I didn't even know such a thing existed! It would be perfect until the zombie CFO made you plug the magazines...

I still like the Winchester SX3:

That and the Brownings related to it are the fastest semi-autos currently made, AFAIK....

Oh, and maybe this guy...:D....:

The AA12 will do that all day... Not recommended to put 1000 shells straight through a Browning... They are fine guns, but zombies aren't ducks...

then for close work, something like this (also in .22)

^should still be accurate enough to pop their heads with single shots up to ~75 yards.

That thing is awesome! Perfect for gophers too... not that we get gophers round here... I love that magazine...

I say it again, no matter what shot gun, its the type of ammo/ shot you use, somthing that will really tear a head apart.

I agree, but range and choke type can play a big role too, #7.5 shot through a full choke a close range can be preaty effective. #2 shot is better and it can also be purchased be the case, I haven't seen anything larger in lead shot being sold be the case, largest steel shot I've seen by the case is BB.

A Vang Comp System can greatly improve accuracy ,reduce recoil and reduce the pattern size, extending the range of the shotgun. A wise investment for the serious Zombie hunter.

My choice for best shotgun for Zombie defence is what I have, Mossberg 590 with a Knoxx SpecOps stock and a 12.5 DA Grizzly also with the same stock.

Sometimes the best gun is the one you have, so practice with what you got and get good with it and you'll be fine. Yes, an AA12 would be awesome but it dosen't look like I'll be able to buy one any time soon.

it would have been spectacularly gruesome in the 2 zombie movies. and why is there any interest in shooting zombies they could have at one time been neibours friends or family, they are only Hollywood just like the 6 shooters that fire forever without an on screen reload.
