This question may have been asked many times, but I didn't find satisfactory answers in existing threads.
There are 2 schools of thought: Red Dot and Ghost rings.
I read that some Red Dot users complained that they had to reset the zero because the recoil moved the dot off target, Red Dot manufacturers claim that their Red Dot sights are made for Shotguns, etc..
As for the ghost rings they look full proof, but the thing I don't like is having to take the shotgun to a gunsmith and pay in order to have the rear sight properly fixed on the receiver. I'd rather have a sighting system I could put on the gun myself. But then again, they may not be a way around it.
From experience (meaning what you used or are using and not what you read about) what is the best sighting system for a tactical shotgun? By best I mean: keeps it's zero, is durable and easy to use at close range, and by tactical shotgun I mean no choke tube, for CQB and not for hunting... for example a Rem 870 Tactical (which is the one I have).
