Big badger have arrived

Chiappa big badger have arrived as saw one at trade show today. Got to feel it and is heavier built than the little version. Guess have to play with it a little to see how it feels and functions as didn’t have much time at show

It's not a lil'badger that's for sure.... 5 1/2 pounds.... about the same as the Lil Scorpio .22lr 13" barrel model.

The Lil Scorpio doesn't need the weight for recoil mitigation but the big badger's weight seems about right for a 30-30.

All that to say, I do wish they had gone with a slightly shorter barrel length, that would have shaved a bit of weight.... maybe a 16" model with a shorter forend will come out down the road if the 20" model sells well?

Hard to say, it's been one of the longest product roll out's I can remember..... doesn't seem to be a big priority.

Ive been keeping an eye out for them to arrive since they were announced as well

Was pleased to see International bring them in... been shopping there close to 20 years. The owner, Scott, is now also the President of the CCFR and Director for BC so I always try to support them first for anything I'm on the hunt for

I was thinking the same thing, shave 4 inches off the fore end/rail and 4 inches off the barrel and it would look perfect.
