OK so i got some more work on the rifle done, its now chambered and i have a stock for it,
i have no iron sights yet, I'm still not sure what I'm going to use for them, i also still need to blue the barrel
its still single shot, i need to lengthen the mag (or buy a factory 375 H&H mag) and open up the feed rials on the receiver. im going to load Woodleigh RNSN 480 gr to the book listed 91.5 mm / 3.602 OAL so i do not need to touch the feed ramp and lower lug support as the receiver is made for up to 375h&H length (come chambered in that from factory) and they run the same OAL as the 480gr bullets
and i want to get a custom stock made for it as well, the one on it i got for 125$ just so i can shoot it, i plan to not have a recoil pad, ill use a brass or may one layer old leather butt plate.
well i can tell you this gun was nothing and i mean NOTHING like i had thought it was going to be. it was very easy going (i may have hyped it up a bit in my head), i loved it, i fried 5 total factory weatherby rounds.
Grain Weight 450 Grains
Muzzle Velocity 2700 Feet Per Second
Muzzle Energy 7284 Foot Pounds
Barnes Triple-Shock X
the first was strapped to a tire, went well so the next 4 were shoulder fired. i weight 155 pounds and wore a tee shirt, i got a video of the first 2 shots firing. ill upload that once i get it from my buddy.
the rifle weights a wopping 8 pounds 6 oz. (if loaded with 3 round it weighs 8 pounds 12oz)
