I wrote to RCBS to see if I could get a new hopper for my 20+ year old Little Dandy powder measures. I have 2 of them and they both had cracked hoppers. They replied quickly and said and order has been created for the parts to be replaced under warranty.

Ten days later I received them in the mail, from California to Toronto.

What great customer service.

Thank you RCBS.

I’ve experienced similar service from them while trying to order parts for an old Partner single stage press I have, they sent me what I needed and wouldn’t let me pay for it. Not even the shipping, which I insisted on paying for. Great company to deal with, Lee has been great as well for the one die I needed warranty work on. They just sent me a replacement.

Same deal here with RCBS. I needed parts for an old rockchucker press I was given and they simply sent them out as warranty, free of charge despite the press probably being 30+ years old and me being the umpteenth owner.

I got a case stuck in a 416 Rigby die and I damaged the neck sizer piece and the threaded rod inside getting the stuck case out
Emailed them saying what happened and asked if I could buy the replacement parts from them to fix my die
Nope, they sent me new parts at no charge under warranty even though I told them I caused the damage
Yup they have great customer service
I did have a bad Lee die out of the box a few years ago and they replaced it at no charge so I don’t have any complaints with Lee either

Over the years I have dealt with most of the major reloading companies (RCBS, Lyman, Hornady, Lee & Redding) and don't recall ever having a bad experience with any of them. Hornady even replaced a plastic die box that was cracked when I received it. I needed a new bushing in my Lyman case trimmer and they said it would need to be sent in for repair as it's a press fit part. They told me return shipping would be $10 but I received the repaired trimmer and they never billed me anything. I once bought a new RCBS Rockchucker at a gun show dirt cheap (I think $40) as all the small parts (priming arms, etc.) were missing. I called RCBS to buy the missing parts and the lady went through the whole schematic and sent me every part for free. At the same time I tried to purchase a new ball end press handle to replace the original bicycle grip handle and she sent me that for free as well. Lots of Lee stuff replaced under warranty too. Talk to them nice and they treat you good. Other companies could learn a lot about customer service from from the reloading outfits.
