Bigfoot ... ???

Good to know who to steer clear of...

I just want to live my life in piece.

Also, show some respect - I'm sick of 'bigfoot'

My preferred nomenclature is 'north american woodland ape'

"North American woodland ape" is too long and not catchy enough, could we use "Sasq" instead? That name would also be a tie-in with the region
that has the most interest in this study.

Saw one, and was able to get a picture, not too far from Lady Evelyn Lake. It was east of Hwy. 11, the Mowatt's Landing Rd. that leads to the portage into Lady Evelyn.

Darn, I sure wish I knew how to post pictures, so I could show y'all!

Not to worry! I have not had any success with posting pictures myself..... but I feel sure that everyone trusts what I have to say.:)

I have a similar problem; I've got tons of Bigfoot photos, but every one is messed up one way or another. Either they move their heads at just the wrong moment, or they blink, or they do some goofy smile...it's always something. We had one in the yard the other day, and I was sure I finally had the clear, well-focussed photo that the world has been waiting for...but when I checked it I realized that the angle made it look like the bird-feeder pole in the background was growing out of the top of his head. Foiled again!

I'm sure if I put my mind to it I could get a good one, especially if I go out into the back 40 behind the barn; they spend much of their time there. But, darn it, it's chilly and it's wet, and the grass is really, really tall, and there are spiders...it's just too harsh and rugged of an environment for a human to enter safely. Ask Kelly; he knows what I mean!

we may be closer to proof positive, I just got off the radio with the trading post guy on the remote Rez, apparently the folks up there have one cornered, it's a female and is really making noise, quite scary for everyone up there, too bad there are no cameras up there, so what they are going to do is, if they can keep her cornered long enough, is have their best painter do it up on canvas, it will then be sent to Kelly for authentic verification and then posted here, hang in there, we may finally have PP!

Sounds more like some Five Star made it's way to the remote Rez.

I don't believe that's the case here, I know there was a float plane pilot (no not Kelly, he's a combine pilot) that was smuggling in Three Feathers whiskey a while back, but he got caught and was terminated. They watch that like a hawk now! Fire water is a real no no up there! I used to sneak in a jug of CC when I went with the wife on those trips, but that was just for the Trading Post operator.

I think you took a picture of a local fellow who works for Miller Paving heading back into his camp to go fishing. His nickname is "The Big Stud".

:agree:
Two-dogs and his remote Rez?! I think he gets drunk and watches old reruns of North of 60 then gets real life confused with the tv show. I am sure somewhere there is a phone operator at Bell that puts him on the loudspeaker and records his calls for all to hear when he calls the remote Rez and starts rambling on. Some day I am sure the recordings will find their way to some epic fail in search of Sasquatch tv show.

I thought you were out painting an old oil rig somewhere!

I'm lurking in the shadows just like a Sasquatch.....

come-on buddy, quite PMing me, you know I can't tell you the name of the remote northern Rez, there is no accommodations up there for a ton of sasksquawch on lookers in horrids and groves of enthusiasts, it just ain't gonna happen! How come you have so much interest behind the scenes? Wanna look see and touch, huh? I can only give you a tiny hint, my wife was Cree First Nations, could be MB or SK, and as you know, there are many up there that it could be! Take your best guess!

EDIT: dang you buddy, they odda take a rope and hang ya, I really wish you hadn't given out my ph number, now I'm getting calls from that Global News team, apparently they have 4 float planes loaded with cameras and equipment and a news team waiting to hop in as soon as the name of the remote Rez comes out! Geeeezzz!
