I have this and I personally cosider it safe storage. There is not much you can do against a motivated thief no matter what kind of safe you use, but I'm pretty sure no one can just walk to it and grab my pistol without considerable effort. And it takes 2 seconds to open it up even in the dark. It runs on AC with a batterie backup, 8x AA batteries so it last a long time without power, like, years... There is one with a finger print scanner but I think its is a waste of time as it is just as fast with the buttons.

OK - so it slows down access, making the owner vulnerable to attack while staying within the law. Doesn't prevent theft, just unauthorized access - you hope.
Unless it's anchored to something immoveable, the box will be stolen and opened at leisure by the thief and your azz is grass, just as it would be with any other "safe storage" method.
Internet videos are a great tutorial for would be thieves. Ain't it great ...... ?
It slows down access for a thief but not much for me or my wife. My best time with snap caps from the start signal is opened, loaded, racked, mounted light on in 2.02 sec in the dark. Would be slower obviously when awakened from sleep but I don't feel that I would go down that easily.
Mine is anchored through the floor to the floor joist. I would say it won't be stolen. Broken into sure but the safe will be staying.

Most of the biometric safes are something you don't want, many are easy to fool and people get locked out power issues. Mechanical is the way to go.
I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole. Easily swiped contents and all. You better off with a good strong combination safe that's anchored to the wall and/or floor.
