Black Rifles and their classifications

I think G3 and G36 are prohib.

G3? Yep they're prohib.

As for the G36, there is a handfull of semi auto specimens in Canada - some restricted, some non restricted, depending on the barrel length. However, since there's so few here, they demand a premium. Then there's the clones of the G36 that people make out of their SL-8s.

good idea to get a solid list out there and i noticed nobody has mentioned the Kriss Super V which is now available in Canada non res. i also think adding general MSRP for each gun would be nice for cost comparisons.

Thanks, I like the list:wave:. Nice to find all the info in 1 place within digging or being told to 'search'.
Be nice if more sub $1500 guns get added to the non restricted for us 'middle class' people :D
Good job!:sniper:

I like your list with the links. Yeah it could be better, but it saved me a lot of time. I think you're totally qualified to put this list together. Don't worry about spelling. All the smarmy spelling police will be sure to put you in your place.

currently they aren't restricted by name and the barrel length should put them into a non restricted category, but at this point i don't know if anyone actually has any in canada but pre-orders are available. will be re listed in appropriate class if anything changes

Please excuse my ignorance but I do not see any Knights Armaments equipment in this list. Would the SR25 (rifle) not meet the criteria? Just curious is all.

thanx

Quick hint that will save you a lot of tears from now on, anything that can interchange internal parts with a M/16\AR15 or it's 308 cousin will be consider a variant.
