You guys aren't going to believe this but I will be using a 300 WSM for them...............Only 100% stainless/fiberglass rifle I have in a suitable caliber, my others are a 300 RUM, a 204 Ruger and my heavy barrel 22-250 so I guess it's the 300 WSM using 150 gn TTSX. I know, I know I have way more suitable cartridges but from what I hear of the weather I better stick with 100% SS and FG or plastic. Besides what if a bull Rosie decides to stumble out on a logging road in front of me...........I don't want to be holding my 22-250 or 204 in my hands now do I? I guess I could drop my 257 Bee into my 300 Rum plastic stock, but then I'd have to resight it, besides the 300 WSM should kill them just fine and it weighs less than 6 lbs.......and is completely impervious to the weather. It was specifically built for sheep and goat country where one never knows what the weather may bring..........25 C, a week of rain or 6" of snow sometimes..........
