I was very impressed with the F3 I handled at the Sportsmen Show last week. Not worth the 10k starting price IMO though and quite plain to be honest, but handled beautifully and fit like a champ.
I checked out the blasers at the sport show also.... they were alright.. when I asked the prices I almost choked tho.... seemed a lot of money for what they were. I went over to the browning display and shouldered a very high end citori that was 7k..... made me wish I had an extra 7k.... the blaser.. ... not so much.. didn't have that effect of wow...
If you want a pretty gun, in that price range, buy a high end Browning or Beretta with fancy wood and engraving . If you want a higher quality gun to shoot rather than to look at, Blaser is a good option. Some people even by base grade Krieghoffs, because they want quality, and are not as concerned about appearance.![]()

I have shot Brownings for about 30 years, and this is my first Blaser. I have had Brownings from grade one to grade six, and all were good guns, but the Blaser handles very differently. The 725 Sporting swings quicker than the earlier Brownings, but the F-3 swings even more quickly. The triggers on the F-3 are far superior to any of my Brownings. Instead of useless porting, the F-3 has a balancing system that makes it easy to change the balance or the overall weight of the gun. Unlike Browning, you can add barrels with no fitting required, and any of the F-3 stocks can be installed on any F-3 receiver. If you want to shoot 20 gauge, just purchase a set of 20 gauge barrels. If you prefer a parallel comb stock, it is an option. The priority at Blaser seems to be more on building a solid gun with features that help to make it more versatile, and to perform better, with less emphasis on appearance. You can purchase higher grade wood and engraving is an option, but it's up to you if you want to pay extra to have them.I wasn't aware that the blasers where that no frills of a gun... all quality no show... works for me... how much performance wise is the entry level braser superior to say a browning xt?
