Just picked up a brick that was thrown in as part of a deal. Is this stuff any good? The clerk said it was made by CCI however I dont see the CCI name on it anywhere. I have used CCI stingers in the past and it was quality stuff. Is Blazer the CCI discount brand?

I ran some of the CCI Blazer over the Chrony and it was running around 1200 fps.
Accuracy is acceptable for some of the cheaper 22 long rifle ammo available.
No misfires but were being shot from 2 CZ455's.

The 50 round boxes are the good stuff. The bulk boxes not so much. My cz's shoot the 50 round boxes into small groups. Also the best cheap ammo in my gf's ruger american.

I have a brick tucked away that I bought a few months back. It's 50rd boxes packed in a 400 or 500 rd brick. Haven't had a chance to try any and certainly didn't score it for $5.

It's 500 rounds in there.

I was paying $22 tax in for these bricks a little over a year ago. Now cheapest I have seen is $35+ tax and shipping.

Still got a brick or 2 plus a couple 525 rd packs left that were bought in 5000rd case and 5250rd case respectively for $200 each a few years ago. $400 for 10,250 rds, those were the days. My 10/22 loves CCI Blazers, rarely has a stoppage. Accuracy is fine for the plinking I do but better bolt guns certainly preffered subs and other half ass match ammo.
