It took about 6 hours total time with an ancient Atlas 7B to turn a 1"x1"x5" piece of 6061 into the mounting.
A quick dip in the etch/chromate tank at work, 10g of polysuphide to hold it in place, a hit of black enamel and 2 days drying on top of the water heater to set it.
Seriously though, I'm not sure it works with the platform. I'm heading out tomorrow AM to try it out. It may or may not work.
Also, check out the ghetto sling. It is made from about 30" of 2000lb web strap, cut down and sewed over at the top, and sewed into a salvaged web fitting at the bottom. It's comfy and adjustable.
And later tomorrow I will purchase myself a set of bib coveralls and a straw hat.
