Everyone I hunt with has a negative opinion towards "road hunters" but they'd all jump out of the truck and harvest an animal in a heart beat if the opportunity arises during transit.
People that do most of their hunting from the truck enjoy things like, heat, music, and not having to haul their meat very far..... not nearly the same experience as hunting on foot in the bush but many people fill their freezers this way.
It's easy to see the appeal of road hunting if you think about it. It's also easy to see why people think less of it.
