hi everyone, i got a blue line shotgun from bullseye, looks like a 870 a little bit harder to pump but for the price you cant go wrong,i want to change the stock and forehand its supose to be 870 compatible except for the barrel, the bolt of the original stock is a 1/4 inch fine threads and its a 6 inch bolt, the bolt i have from an old 870 is 8 inch long and bigger, did anybody change the stock on the blue line and how did you do it,thanks.

Not sure I understand ..... so the 870 8 inch stock bolt will not screw into the blue line receiver?

If AD1974 managed to put a Magpul stock on his blue line receiver then it is the same thread as all other 870s ....
am starding to wonder if my old 870 bolt i had for years is not that at all,if any body has an 870 can you check the size of the bolt, on the blue line its a 1/4 inch fine threads and on the bolt i have from an old 870 its a 5/16 reg threads, all this time i was sure it was for a rem 870,might be a senior moment lol.

I just did a bit of google-foo ... and found this:

"The thread on a Remington 870 stock bolt is 1/4-28 UNF (Unified National Fine). This means the bolt has a 1/4-inch diameter and 28 threads per inch."

Also if you want to install a wood stock you will need a stock bearing plate ... and which goes in between the receiver and the stock.

Remington made a couple of different lengths of stock bolts.
They made 10¼" and 8¼" bolts.
Thread and diameter have always been the same ¼" and 28 threads per inch

I’ve been very curious about this aswell! I was considering the wood gladiator series.
