Well almost 2 years in the making, taking into account for the order processing times of both the barrel and the stock...here she is.

Parts:
Action - Stevens 200 Long-action
Barrel - Shilen 7mm SS Select Match finished at 30" tapered to 1" with 11 degree crown and no barrel nut - Thanks to Jerry "Mystic" for the barrel
Stock - SSS Green/Green/Blue HBR with 3" flat fore-end
Trigger - SSS Competition trigger
Scope - Sightron SII Target Dot 36x
Small parts - Stainless steel trigger guard, bolts
Burris Zee - medium didn't fit with my scope touching the barrel
Gunsmith - Joe Kroetsch
Stock's clear-coat - Dave Krieger

The barrel was reamed with .319 neck with a throat to seat 180 VLD Berger at 3.2" COAL and enough space to chase the lands. The action was steel bedded into the stock. Will work with Hornady A-max 162's as well. I am planning to use Winchester brass at this point but will monitor the progress. BR2 primers and RL17 is what I've got cooking :stirthepot2:

Not sure what the weight is, but should be withing he F-Open limits

Remaining parts: Bolt knob, higher Rings :)

Will post the range report as soon as I get out and find a front rest :(

Very nice and look forward to your range results.

Let me know if you are looking for different bolt handles and knobs.

Base and ring options as well. Got a few 1" high Sig ZEE rings instock. Last ones as Burris has been backordered on all Sig ZEE rings for months.

Didn't know you had bolt knobs, I got one from Bill

if nothing local, I'll PM for rings :) and maybe few more things

What is a Boomslang .284 Win? An Ackleyized case?

That will be the next barrel, this one is a straight .284 Win with a littletighter neck than SAAMI but throated wayyy out there

instead of 2.8" COAL this one is close to 3.2" COAL ;)

Nature lesson:
The Boomslang Snake is a rather large, highly poisonous tree dwelling snake found throughout sub-Saharan Africa. Boomslangs are greenish to brown or even black in color. Males are light green color often with black or blue highlights outlining the edges of their scales. This snake is a one deadly animal because of its preference for aerial positioning in tree top and shrub cover. Hard to see in the thick forested cover of the savanna, the Boomslang Snake is well camouflaged and strikes without giving any warning signal. The Boomslang delivers a potent Hemotoxic venom to its victim through large, deeply grooved Folded Fangs positioned in the rear of its mouth and this snake bite can be fatal if left untreated.
