Boots, what do you want

Danner boots are for the uncompromising, there's actually hard to find in Canada.
The quality is pretty much unequaled, and they can be easilly resoled...cant say that from those other company out there.
 
Oakley speedfreak gortex with coldgear..awsome.
Danner is so hit and miss, I would never own another pair. Huge $$ and sketchy CC. Definately stay away from the stuff made overseas.
X2 for swats. Great price point and ZERO brake in time.

I lead a helitack crew fighting forest fires in the mountains of BC for 13 years. La sportiva are the BEST! I got four years out of them and I abused them. Really comfortable as well.
 
If you want to carry the best money can buy get Lowa. I have worn both black and tan leather. There are on the expensive side at around $300 a pair but are fantastic.

I think the JTF guys are issued them.
 
Hmmm this caterpillar drama is news to me.. Always liked the boots, but if that's the case I'll take the next best thing whatever that might be.. Ps these will be used for welding, not to be tacticool lol
