Bore Guides 22 rimfire

It's not 'necessary' if you're very careful but will help if you're in a hurry (or a klutz). A coated rod is more helpful than a guide IMO.
 
How do you use a bore guide on a T1X? I’m not sure what it’s called but there is a hook thing in the action of the T1X that peels the coating off my rods.
 
I like when people admit to not using a bore guide. They become members of my list of never buying a firearm from!! Can a gun be cleaned properly without one? YES but for $20-30 for a good bore guide, why bother. Dripping cleaning solutions in your trigger or action is enough for me aside from lining the rod up correctly with your chamber/bore.
