Shot it for the first time today. I hate it, going up for trade. Should make everybody here happy.

What was the problem? My dad loved his in the army, said he couldn't miss if he tried with it.
Loosey goosey, stinky, flinging all over, short sight radius, poor rear ladder notch? That's what a few Yank buddies tell me.
If we ever get these back to Canada I am getting 2.
Don't get your hopes up.. Too much bad propaganda in these parts
If it makes you guys feel any better I would trade it for a vz58 in a heartbeat. They are just harder to find. Waaaay better rifle, I don't care what the AK fanboys say.
We'll be building them ourselves in the near future.
Bah...Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha!
There are a couple of suppliers in the US who make first class AK's - but they charge for their rifles, because a lot of knowledge and work goes into them. In an out of the box situation, to me the Vz makes more sense, it's lighter, better handling and better finished and more accurate, on average. As far as aftermarket goes, the products available for the Vz might not be as numerous, but the vast majority are better designed and better made. There are only so many ways to mount a red dot, and so many mag releases out there.
The Arsenal brand AKs are the U.S. market benchmark and don't cost any more there than CSA Vz58s do.
I would however take a Vz58, even one from the likes of Century Arms before I'd take a WASR {What A Shitty Rifle} or some other parts bin kludge build AK though.
I looked at some Arsenals and while they were certainly nicer than the Zastava, they aren't really that impressive.
Maybe not in terms of finish but they 'run'.
I'd rather go overbuilt and underfinished than the other way around as seems to be the norm in the West.
What kind of G3 you thinking of getting?
None anymore. Maybe in a few months but I am actually not a huge fan of rifles. Just find it hard to get into them since pistols can be carried and are far more useful.
So the kel tec pictured above actually had a crack in the slide, didn't realize until I got home. The guy took it back and paid me the difference in cash from what I was asking so I picked up a new Taurus TCP 738.
