Sigline worthy.i guess NEA has become the new ross rifle by taking a charging handle to the face

A brittle barrel extension who f@cking cares, it blew up in your face after one of their dealers dishonestly stuck you with it.
I would ask for a service report and test data that proves that the gun works and its not going to have another blow out when you get it back and shoot it.
after all you don't know if the carrier or upper has hairline cracks it is that could result in another blow out.
Unless all they did was swap parts and send it back to you.
Full test report by a qualified tech would be a good idea.
either that or #### can the whole upper and send u a new one just to be on the safe size.
new upper is cheaper then a law suite
Speaking of lawsuit.....
Yeah, idk how I'd feel about spending a grand on a rifle, have it blow up and then be told it has been "repaired".
The whole idea of not just giving someone a new upper at least is ridiculous in my mind.
Not exactly a confidence inspiring move on their part
If the upper is cracked and the bolt or barrel extension lets go again you could end up eating a chunk of that rifle.
Well then , when Wes gets back go speak with him and tell him you want a gen 2
Speaking of lawsuit.....
I would strongly recommend you get NEA to pay for an L.P.I. on the upper and lower and an MPI on the carrier. There is zero chance I would fire that rifle without those things being done. If the upper is cracked and the bolt or barrel extension lets go again you could end up eating a chunk of that rifle. Don't let NEA do the NDE themselves, take it to a place like TEAM industrial services and get a report made. If NEA refuses the NDE request then demand a new upper, lower and BCG. Good luck
