Of the 2 boyd's stocks I have purchased so far, they all see rather oversized, especially in the exterior dimensions. This wasn't a problem for the first stock. However, for the second, when dealing with a floorplate box magainze, it was a hassle as I had to carefully hog out material so that the floorplate and the action where the proper distance from each other. As it came from the factory they were at least 1/8" too far apart. That might not sound like much, but it does translate into quite a bit of woodwork. That being said, all the major inletting was spot on, such as screw holes and all that.
