The Alcor 223 is a lightweight, ergonomic semi-automatic rifle chambered in .223 REM, purpose-built by Akdas Silah A.S. for the hunting community. It features integrated iron sights and a full-length Picatinny rail, making optics mounting simple and secure.

Not built for military use, the Alcor 223 is strictly designed for civilian sport and hunting applications. New to the Canadian market in 2025, it has been officially reviewed by the Canadian Firearms Program and classified as non-restricted (FRT 199188).

At its core is a Melonite-treated (Nitrided) barrel for exceptional durability and longevity, chambered in .223 REM for precision and reliability. The rifle accepts standard STANAG magazines and ships with a 5-round short mag included.

Seems interesting I really like the rail and open sights. I have a few Weatherby shotguns so realize Turkey can build guns. Does Akkar produce them? Are spare parts available like firing pin, sear, extractor….etc to order? I am concerned with things breaking and like to be prepared.

The button version is the self ejecting one for places where semi auto is prohibited. This is the no button semi auto version. I didn't even know that the self ejecting thing was a thing outside of being mentioned as a joke, I didn't know anyone was really doing it.

And I believe they were at 50 meters.......

If it really shoots that bad, it's a no go for me.
