Hey guys,
Just got a brand new CSA VZ-58 and went to shoot it for the first time last week. I loaded up one mag of some surplus crap ammo and fired one mag. I noticed some visible sparks and so did my friend... I had oiled the barrel up and all parts properly (as far as I know) so I was confused. Loaded up one more mag or so, and took a video (below, sorry the quality kinda of sucks and no sound but you can see the issue clearly). I got my friend to film it and he said his SKS shooting the same ammo has never done this. I was shooting at a paper target and the entry marks look normal, and some of the shots dont make these sparks. Anyone ever encountered this or have any idea whats causing it? I dont really want to shoot it anymore until I find out, dont want to do any damage etc. From what I can tell taking it apart and inspecting everything I dont see any visible wear or anything that could be catching or anything. Any help would be great. Thanks again.
