Brand New to Canada: SG-12 "SPAS"

I'm not being that serious about it. Just getting a cheap "safari hat" from Amazon. Cheap fishing vest.
LAME!

I’m going to do some location scouting today, then have my 6-year-old storyboard the whole scene. She’s a decent drawer when she holds her tongue just the right way. We haven’t worked together since Tea Party for Stuffies. Low-budget indie project. Very limited release.

I figured I’d get a couple of those inflatable dinosaur costumes for my littles.

My two-year-old screams exactly like a velociraptor, but unfortunately not on command. Could be a problem. 🤔

My 8-year-old boy is too excited about this project. He already has some materials loaded into his Power Wheels dump truck.

Let's see if this one survives longer than the M3 Super 90
Curious what your experience was...I have one and maybe put 250 rounds through it so far, mostly buckshot but a few slugs and birdshot. I haven't had an issue. They sent me a screw out of nowhere, I can't even recall if I installed it or not, but I haven't had any serious malfunction (yet), what would I be looking for on it?

My main complaint was fit n finish, it was really rough, like a norinco. I added a but of grit to some lithium grease and ran about 50 rounds though it, and that smoothed it up a LOT. I noticed that a lot of the early norc stuff had grit in the lube, I figured they did it on purpose for those that don't really clean or care for their equipment, like a built in polishing compound.

I just reloaded about 300 rounds of buckshot for this spas. Going to run it fairly hot for a bit and then I figure I'll deal with anything that shows up from there. Benefit of having a private range I can just spend a whole day out there blasting away. I had to switch to black clays as I think the range was visible from space with all the orange bits everywhere.

Did you say you have 6??

If so, well done man. I had 4 and I thought that was enough. I have so many friends that just didn't have kids, never got married etc. We stop having kids and the libs import millions out of the third world. So instead of cool young Canadian kids playing hockey we get imports dumping garbage and begging for google gift cards. All of us should be breeding like rabbits. It's a weird world we're in. Cheers.

Yup. Six.

My wife is Super Mom, but we tag-team pretty efficiently. Grocery deliveries look like they should come on a pallet. If you’ve ever dropped $100 at Dairy Queen, you can feel my pain.

Took them down our gravel road on the quad to catch the school bus this morning. Riding back I thought, man, we have a pretty great life out here.

Wouldn’t trade the chaos for anything.

Wife has the two-year-old and newborn at work right now. Her young female employees happily fawn over them, so they’re in good hands and I’m enjoying the silence.

I mean, with 6, seems you do a few things efficiently. ;)

Without my wife, my kids would have had a terrible upbringing. She's the caregiver, I'm the protector. Hence, I require a Spas 12 shotgun ;)

Well done though man. I made my youngest walk the laneway to the bus...it's 3/4 mile up/downhill so that he can have one of those "when I was young I had to walk 2 hours through a snowstorm uphill" stories like we had in our day, except that his would be more legit than mine. He had a coyote that used to walk with him some days, we would get calls from the school board about it, I finally said "you shouldn't worry about the coyotes, they're tiny, it's the moose he had to scare off last week that would have got 'im" and they stopped calling.

I got a CFP online notification… has to be for this.

Giggidy Giggidy ALRIGHT!

I’m not too far from their warehouse. Usually next day, or day after for items from TI. It is an hour to and from Post Office from my place tho.

I could be the first one to post PG SPAS pics

I wish this shell holder was usable closed, seems like it’s the same on OG spas 12

My dad told me a cool story from the 1991 Kuwait war that a guy at his base in the British Army had his personal SPAS12 with him, seemed the only guy on base with a personal weapon. Was a very serious soldier, ironed everything, very formal. He had told my dad stories of fighting and kills from IRA battles prior.

That guy was definitely trying to catch something with the SPAS imo
