It's a single roll pin you just drive out from the bottom the the bolt catch assembly comes out as one piece.
So similar to the m4 then

Can you actually push it out of the from the bottom? Theres a hole for a 1/16 punch on the lip of the ejection port to drive it out from the top. At least I believe its meant for that.
Yes it pushes out from that hole in the top, just keep an eye on it when it comes out, it'll be moving.
I'll take photos when it's apart, and if I can get enough space on the bench cleared off I'll try to get a video done of the reassembly of the gun, the gas system is the only tricky part, it's overall not bad at all to do once you see it.
I haven't gotten to it just yet, Shoulder was screaming so I went in the hot tub. (Life is rough out here.)
Okay, confirmed that the pin was out, just like Armedsask said. That is insane that THAT was their design for that.
I would say that every gun is eventually going to fail in exactly the same way IMHO.
The roll pin came out fairly easy to get at this. I ended up using a drill bit, my punch wouldn't reach. I haven't reassembled yet because I want to think on what to do here. You can't use a roll pin, as the button has to pivot and a roll pin would negate that.
I might try to stake in that pin, but it will be really easy to crush this part. If anyone has a solution offer it up.
Ideally the channel this sits in in the receiver would lock this pin in place once it's in there, but since mine came already loose, as have others, obviously it doesn't work this way. This screams oversight in the QA department, which I assume in Turkey is the guy with the nicest sandals or something.
Oh, and the mag spring retainer did walk itself out quite a bit, I see what the previous post said about there needing to be a disc spacer of some sort in there since the mag spacer thing doesn't come close to this. Just a matter of time until this walks loose too, I might just try some crazy glue on it for now, easy enough to re-do that later. Again, the M2 style plug would be worlds better than this. This type of cup only works if there is a mag cap that retains it. Again, a failure that everyone is going to have sooner or later.
Oh and I will mention that ALL of the screws on this gun were loose except for the ones holding the grip halves together. Probably from the pounding I gave her today(!) but still...I might end up just staking them too if I can get a solution for this.

silicone would never stick to these smooth tiny parts. I've never used the green sleeve retainer, it's what AI suggested too. I'd have to find some somwhere local, I can't stand using amazon.
I'm trying to find a block of metal the same size as this part. At least then I can stake one side without crushing it. I suppose I could try staking the hole and then forcing the pin in. I prefer repairs that don't require extra $$$ if I can pull it off, just on principle. As people have pointed out, this thing was a cool grand plus tax and shipping already.
I'm ordering a bag of properly sized pins with the center seration to lock them in the black tab. Maybe I'll just mail one out to whoever wants one.
ahh okay I see where you're going with that. Yeah your solution is fairly simple, although matching length and dia will be a bit of trial and error, no?
I'm likely going to try staking at least one side tomorrow, see if I crush the housing or not. I'm sure this is really soft metal, if the pin has any kind of resistance I don't think it'll go anywhere. If that fails, I'll gladly pay some postage and "pin cost"

I wish these had better reviews, i really want this to be not only a cool piece (which it is) but a functional piece out of the box (which seems to be hit or miss)
I’d like to lean on that anecdote that the first iteration of a new product will always have teething issues but the Turks been putting these SPAS “clones” out for awhile now and they’ve had some pretty low ratings across the board. Really hope there’s some way to address the issues here so people aren’t stuck with good lookin lemons, and so I don’t feel like a fool for eventually ordering one

This would change the angle on wich the button present itself but im really currious to see if its gonna stop tthe rubbing on the reciever. Im gonna get a it later this evening. Lets us know if it work.
