Im absolutely convinced I will get it to run reliably and smoothly. But it definetly need some love out of the box.

You're a random Turkish manufacturer. Your choice: spend a skid of shells and test-fire a dozen shotguns while your village competitor unloads hundreds of them and you lose the contract, OR let the buyers test them, tell you what needs to be fixed, and make a buck on hundreds of shotguns.
Same could be said for a bunch of canadian makers that I wont name.
Here's the thing:
People can look at this as negative reviews, OR they can look at it as "what's the reality here".
I had a "jut right" carbine go off out of battery and blow bits of a .45 case into my face. I've had BCL "labs" guns literally fall apart on the bench at the range. I've had 3 norinco 1911s that wouldn't shoot straight or feed ammo. I had a Kriss Vector that was $2000 15 years ago that was an absolute POS, so pretending that gremlins in a gun are particular to Turkey is bullsh*t.
I would have liked to have seen TI speak up here, these are their products (sort of), but I also understand why they are not engaging. No hard feelings there at all. I get it. Gun people are difficult to deal with. I wouldn't want to make a gun for you miserable sods.
That said, I also assume that people who simply go "OH wat a POS, I'd NEVER EVER EVER BUY THIS!!!!" are anti gun liberal trolls, I know they're on here, it's why I don't post anymore. I don't care what a progressive thinks about anything.
The bottom line: I shot the sh*t out of this yesterday and it worked. I own a functional "combat shotgun that should never be in civilian hands and it's the government's job to control people" (or however Kim Campbell and the conservatives phrased it in her gun control legislation). So I've lived long enough to defeat her whims. This is a HUGE win personally. If staking a part and a bit of adhesive fixes the issues, win win from my point of view. Don't like the sounds of it? Don't buy it, I'd like to get another one so you won't be competing, that's great.
I'll get this back together today and see if she runs right. Feels a whole lot better than just complaining on the internet. To those that are working to just fix this and then have fun, cheers!

Mine sat in that state until it was at the post office. I think whoever does updates at the alberta depot likes to dip into the Moosehead or Crown Royal instead of doing paperwork. That's my theory anyway.
I agree that TI should have commented on this issue with the pin walking out as it’s not a minor failing with these
They do keep saying they offer lifetime warranty..
if the staking of the pin works/the sleeve retaining compound, or if someone else comes out with a different fix hopefully TI uses the info from here and has the issue corrected in a future shipment

Anyone have a solution for that magazine tube plug vibrating out? I might just 3D print a plug of some sort, but it won't like the proximity of that hot barrel. I wonder what the threads are on this, if a regular magazine cap would work, I don't plan to use the extension...

I 3D printed a plug, solid PETG slug 0.95" diameter by 3/4 thick. I haven't shot it yet but I can't see the gun getting hot enough to be an issue. With snap caps, I haven't been able to replicate the loose shell issue.
I designed up a one piece aluminum replacement for the magazine limit rod and cap the other day. It has a larger diameter at the bottom where it pushes on the spring cap. Waiting on material and also don't have the time right due to harvest to toss it on the CNC.
At this point, maybe I just need to put together a tune up kit with the new pin and magazine plug.
Yeah, the gun has gremlins. So far, none are catastrophic or safety issues. I, like others in the thread, have shot the gun for an entire afternoon without gun breaking issues. It sucks, but they are fairly easy issues to solve. It's a Turkish knock-off the SPAS. It is what it is.
I still think it's cool as ####. I'm weird enough that, to me, the problem solving is almost as fun as shooting it.

I'm going to print a plug, I might do PVC, but you're right, I don't think there would be a ton of heat migration to that tube.
If my shows signs of these issues, ill get a tune up kit aswell.

Your post is textbook DARVO.
Educated people are difficult to deal with because it is hard to lie to them without being countered in return, some of us are prior importers/retailers who have dealt directly with this manufacturer for years so our criticism is very valid.
Desperation is not a valid reason to let quality become one of the lowest priorities.
I have no involved with Tactical Imports but I would suggest they hire someone to run the piss out of dealer sample firearms before the big shipments come in so that way ISSUES LIKE ALL THE ONES NOTED would have been documented and addressed prior to release!!
Bottom line we need as many firearms available for sale as possible but we do not need to be flooded with low tier garbage with a be grateful note attached to it.

But in one way I was aware of the gamble I took when choose to buy a turk shotgun.
Ive seen all the product, but my only personal experience with them prior to this one was the sunlun sr-410 with a chamber so tight that you couldnt eject the shell without a small mallet. And the sr-45 wich I had no issue. Also People seem to like the m3 shotgun so I went with confidencenon this one.
I just hope Ti gonna make it right if I cant fix it. Ive deal multiple time with them and last time I contact them was for a type 81 were the reciever was not in line with the barrel, what people refer to as "crooked barrel". Since the sights were all on the barrel its wasnt affecting function (unless you had too much deviation and wanted to mount an optic) and they do run flawlessly. Regardless it kinda suck when some got straight rifle and other crooked one.
Ultimatly they came up with a threshold of 3mm deviation (aka super crooked) if I remember correclty, that had to be met in order to get a replacement.
I just hope they dont come with another shenanigan like that for thoses terrible bolt release.
