Educated people are difficult to deal with because it is hard to lie to them without being countered in return, some of us are prior importers/retailers who have dealt directly with this manufacturer for years so our criticism is very valid.

Desperation is not a valid reason to let quality become one of the lowest priorities.

I have no involved with Tactical Imports but I would suggest they hire someone to run the piss out of dealer sample firearms before the big shipments come in so that way ISSUES LIKE ALL THE ONES NOTED would have been documented and addressed prior to release!!

Bottom line we need as many firearms available for sale as possible but we do not need to be flooded with low tier garbage with a be grateful note attached to it.

Fair critism.

But in one way I was aware of the gamble I took when choose to buy a turk shotgun.

Ive seen all the product, but my only personal experience with them prior to this one was the sunlun sr-410 with a chamber so tight that you couldnt eject the shell without a small mallet. And the sr-45 wich I had no issue. Also People seem to like the m3 shotgun so I went with confidencenon this one.

I just hope Ti gonna make it right if I cant fix it. Ive deal multiple time with them and last time I contact them was for a type 81 were the reciever was not in line with the barrel, what people refer to as "crooked barrel". Since the sights were all on the barrel its wasnt affecting function (unless you had too much deviation and wanted to mount an optic) and they do run flawlessly. Regardless it kinda suck when some got straight rifle and other crooked one.

Ultimatly they came up with a threshold of 3mm deviation (aka super crooked) if I remember correclty, that had to be met in order to get a replacement.

I just hope they dont come with another shenanigan like that for thoses terrible bolt release.

Okay, so that did take care of the bolt release issue, at least for now.

For those asking about disassembly... This is honestly one of the easiest semis to take down and reassemble. Below, the gun is loading port up. The gas piston CAN get trapped by the selector, so shifting the pump/semi selector lever will free it. The barrel and the action bar assembly have to slide into the receiver at the same time as the barrel. The bolt sits on the action bar pretty well without needing a 4th hand to remove it.

For me, I had to take off the pistol grip to get the trigger group back in, but there's likely a way if you have patience. Any questions I can answer them.

DARVO doesn't really quite cover this, I think you were just looking for a spot to use a nifty acronym.

Why did my Kriss vector fail to feed even after being "serviced" 2 times?
Why did my ruger gunsite scout need an entirely new bolt to function "right out of the box".
Why did my colt 1911 have non stop issues with the internal safety?
Why did my ruger PCC required servicing in Quebec at some disco shop or something?
Why did my smith and wesson "key lock" permanently engage without every using a key?
Why did my sig 320 fire when I dropped it?
Why did my KSG feel like a bag of broken squirrel bones?

What I'm saying is that EVERY gun manufacturer puts out junk and lets the customer work it out. Kriss vectors are on what gen 9 now?

That said...I have ZERO respect for Turkey guns. I have a churchill, a canuck and had one of those AR-15 looking things, and every one of them was junk. I don't want to be the "pro Turkey" guy, but let's be fair, they all do it.

I'll let the "educated people" comment go as a matter of opinion ;)

If you push in that black part, does the pin slide out? It's possible it just reset itself when you were removing it. I don't think there's anything in that channel to retain it once it's in there ?

I does slide out quite easily but I already ressemble it and it did not fix my issue.

If I had to guess on the root cause of all of this ill say the hole on the bolt release that connect to the reciever are out of spec. Im playing with and a i can see how a few thousand change how the tab that is rubbing on mine present itself.

Once again with a working unit I would have figure it out easily.

Can you tell me if your bolt release is not center in the reciever like mine in the picture. If not that would confirm my theory that the holes holding the bolt release are out of spec.

I just ran a bunch of buckshot through mine again, definitely fixed my issue, so I'm going to say that it IS directly related to that particular part. Honestly, they should be sending out replacements for this part, and I would guess they will eventually, this affects every one of these guns, and it's a relatively easy replacement, a few minutes with a gunsmith for those that don't/can't do it themselves, but doable at home.

So mine is stiff, but one handed release every time if I put some finger muscles into it.

So is it the same issue, you have to pull back the charging handle to get the bolt release to work? It's strange if so, since that was exactly my issue and it's gone (for now anyway).

Im now 95% certain that my bolt release hole are out of spec. Easy fix once you have the part. A good start would be TI responding back. Its been almost 48h now.

Meh, I mean I get it, I wish every gun I've ever bought "just worked" too. People work hard for their money, and most people don't want to risk destroying a $1000 item that should not need to be pulled apart.

This whole thing is a personal vendetta for me against Kimmy C and the gun grabbers from polysevigneant. I was literally thinking of them as I ran through all that ammo yesterday, it made the day memorable. I wouldn't have cared if I had to mill a new barrel for this thing, I still would have made it work. I'm going to shoot a bunch of rounds off the back porch here shortly, because that's something else I know they wouldn't want me doing. I want as many people as possible in Canada to own one of these, so I'm happy to help diagnose issues as much as I can.

Generally, I wouldn't give a rat's *ss about a Turkey made gun....

Aorey to bother you again. Can you show me with the bolt release with the bolt back. Mine kinda return to center when theres no tension.

Also, took it out for a trial run (holy crap the shoulder was a lot sorer than I thought). Worked flawlessly, went through about 30 rounds of buckshot.

with the bolt back, my button moves backwards slightly.
