Do we have any idea what kind of pressures would be generated? I know that is a pretty broad question, but at this point I would be happy to hear any opinions.
Where I get confused is how come a break-action shotgun is rated at around 12000psi, yet you can get a double-rifle built on a break-action, and they are touching off rounds in the 40 000+psi range? Is that because of the barrel thickness, rather than the action type?
