Leupold makes a two piece mount for the modern FN Mauser action. The rear charger guide needs to be removed to mount them though. As mentioned, be careful with your drilling. I like to use a centering drill to drill pilot holes. They are far more rigid and won't wander on you. The thing is, they need to be properly sharpened to work properly.
I still wish I had bought that great set of trammels from that old smith at the Kamloops show several years ago. In all honesty, using a center punch to locate the holes can be extremely taxing and I have seen more than one Mauser with holes drilled off the axis of the receiver center.
Google Weaver scope bases. They make a two piece and one piece set of mounts for their standard rings.
