I'd take out a loan for one, gladly.
I used to have a bren, I would buy one again if we were allowed to enjoy them with regular mags. Very fun to shoot!
Sometimes when I am feeling too optimistic about the future of the human race, I remind myself that idiots who watched too many Chuck Norris and Van Damme movies in the 80's made our firearms laws.
Then I am back to feeling hopelessly oppressed by our ignorant political masters.
We need a Ukraine style revolution.....
You really think that Canadians have got the balls for such an insurrection? Yeah, right ..... that's how we wound up with the gun laws we have.
I hope both you guys are kidding. A full scale revolution were thousands die because you can't own a Bren???? No wonder the antis are scared.
I'm with you. I love the Bren. I had the good fortune to use it when in the army. I would love to own one now. I drooled over the one they fire over at Fort Rodd near Victoria. I cut up crates full of them back in the 70s when they were being moved out of war reserve. I didn't care for that part of my job.Let's be clear, as the OP I do not think Canada needs a revolution because gun laws are a bit stricter than I like. That's a ridiculous bit of specious reasoning. I had hoped for a fun chat about how cool the BREN is and the possibility of owning one.
