BREN TEN........back in action from VLTOR ....(SHOT show release)

I'll believe it when I see it, the market for 10mm pistols is so small. Someone already made a copy, it was called the Peregrine Falcon or something like that but they made a ton of prototypes but never sold any.

I have a brochure from the factory lying around somewhere.

I have a Colt Delta Elite 10mm, G20 10mm and now a G29 10mm with a 4.25" barrel...

Even though the Bren Ten would be awesome I am now a firm believer that the G29 is the most versitile 10mm on the market so thanks but no thanks I won't be buying a Bren Ten.

the first 2 pictures are ultra realistic, the last one gave it away. I thought I was looking at the actual gun, not some computer generated image.

I would certainly wait a couple of years to see if the company/line will survive, and to see what the gun's record, (maintenance, warranty, etc) will be like before I think about buying one.

Mm mm indeed! I've always had a soft spot for the Bren Ten...one of the first gun mags I bought when I was younger was the August (I think) 1984 Guns & Ammo with the Bren Ten on the cover. If those renderings are accurate it looks like they might have gotten rid of the somewhat superfluous cross bolt safety, which would be a good thing. I still don't know if I'd go for one...depending on the price it would be tempting to me, although as highlander mentioned upthread you'd want to make sure that it (and the company) was reliable.

Me too. I was in University and was lucky enough to get a Gov't Mod 1911. Always wanted a Bren Ten, but of course couldn't afford one. Miami Vice was my favourite show as well. :)

Maybe this time, I will get one eventually. But to keep it, I better get back to writing letters to stop any ban!

All of the pictures look like artists renditions, they aren't real.

I only have 1 question if it comes to fruition.

ARE THERE ANY MAGS?

I remember when Dornhaus and Dixon brought out the Bren 10 , they shipped a bunch WITHOUT mags and then went tits up.

The Camp Cook is right

The Camp Cook is right! Many companies started down the 10mm road, but who actually makes a production gun now?
The only people who got it right is Glock. And they make a compact 10mm.
Serious 10mm-ers are a rare breed. Most 10mm owners like it but don't shoot it too much. And they all have Glocks.
