Brigade Makasi MK15 We're back in business!!

Yeah, I was wondering why they didn't design this to fold to the right so as not to block the charging handle. Would have been easy enough to mske sure it wouldn't interfere with ejection.
The stock looks like it comes apart from the folder, maybe its symetric and you can just detach the stock, flip the folder 180 degrees and reattach.

I called them a while back to ask about handguard compatibility. I shared our thanks from Canada and the guy on the phone said they’re happy to help us out- I don’t think the realize quite how much it means to us but they were appreciative
Call them back and ask if they're willing to do a run of 15-16" handguards for us poor oppressed Canadians.

Wonder how many pre orders were made in total?
Must be a pile of them which is great to see, most of the preorders are all sold out now
Poly be shakin in their boots lol
Im guessing at least 5000 pre orders at the minimum Canada Wide, maybe more ?

Lots of people on Reddit and Facebook have said they have a pre order in and have more than one

These people are not on CGN

Not to mention many others on CGN who dont post have ordered one

5000 before end of summer is a lot, they must be a big operation.

I'm thinking it's no problem. They cut the guards from a finished billet into 8" or 12" handguards. It's a case of not cutting an 8" to make a 16" There'll be a cost, but...?

I think I’d wait for the rifles to be in our mitts before asking anyone to make handguards or other parts
You know in case the inevitable happens…
I've spoken with BLK LBL and they aren't interested, which is a shame as they make top tier stuff.

5000 rifles is a lot, especially to have complete in only a few months but maybe they can do it?
WhenTI brought in the type 81s they were piggybacked off of a military order and the Chinese factories no doubt can produce way more guns then a small American shop can in a given time
I am expecting these rifles to be a better build quality then the type 81 though as they were a bit rough for being mass produced, they also weren’t 2400 bucks either
Guess we will see in a few months

If that's the case I'll l be swapping it. Let's hope....

That is apparently the case. I read elsewhere that a US buyer had flipped the folding mechanism over so that it folds to the Right side instead of the Left. It is a simple procedure involving the removal and replacement of 2 screws which secure the Buttstock itself to the Side-Folding Mechanism. Those screws are clearly visible in the video at 4:28 onwards, on the Left side of the image. The single screw on the Right side of the Side-Folding Mechanism is what secures the Folding Stock Assembly to the Rifle's Lower Receiver. Just click on the video then pause right away to see what I am talking about....

Indeed, this is not a cope gun or frankenguns, we can finally enjoy some "real" rifle same as our US bros. Hope is not banned too soon, like my 60 rounded crpyto, so i can put more rounds into it. I am curious since it uses stanag mag, if the LAR 10 rounder will fit.

I say with 99.9999999999999% certainty that they should.
