Yeah, my scopes all mount rock solid and with ease.
You’ll need a ZG47 firing pin that’s compatible with the safety/shroud. And maybe a ZG47 trigger.
Maynards auction?
Where is that?
Got a ZG-47 shroud coming to complete my rifle. Searched high and low for one.

Now I need somebody that has the tools and know-how to convert a standard M98 firing pin to work with a ZG47 shroud/safety. Should be fun. Lol

... and the learning journey continues. It appears that the cocking piece is also different, but I'm not sure how. I will search around for a photo of a ZG-47 cocking piece. It takes a M98 cocking piece, but the safety does not function/move.
Thanks. A good member sent me a spare ZG-47 cocking piece. And, yes, I also just learned about the relief cut on the bolt. I am on the fence about altering the 21 bolt.
Don't bother using the ZG47 cocking piece, just machine either a 98 or 21, that way you still get to use the original double trigger...unless you are going to use a trigger with an angled sear such as a Sako, in which case utilise the 47 cocking piece.
