It loves Hornady Custom 139 gr (not the light magnum), with holes touching at 200 meters off the bench. Federal 140's are a close second. The ZKK series of rifles came out in about 1965 and were discontinued around 1996. The two digit number on the left hand side where the barrel meets the action is the year it was manufactured. Push the trigger forward to set it and it can be adjusted by removing the bolt and turning the screw that can be seen from the top behind the rear bridge. I've never been disappointed in any of my Brno's yet.

Johnn Peterson said:Hey Guy, good info!! I have a Brno ZKK 602 in .458WM & now I know what the 92 stamped on the barrel & action left side stands for. I have been 'thinking' of selling it, as I also have a Winchester model 70 in the same caliber, but so far I've always been able to come up with a 'viable'reason to keep it. A couple of questions, first, and they are easy to change out, where could I get a higher front sight blade? Mine was shooting too high with the iron sights so what I've 'tried' is gluing a piece of 0.100" fibre optic to the top of the front sight. Just the right height now, easy to pick up the front sight but........ Second, I'm looking for a set of scope mounts / rings, know of any available & if so, where?

brno375 said:Go to a CZ dealer (such as Reliable) and order in the appropriate new front blade that fits the CZ 550. There are a few options from what I understand. I have heard of others taking a NECG sight and filing it a little to fit. As for rings, go with a set of Talley QDs. I understand you can get them from Corlane Sporting Goods in Dawson Creek, but I got my second pair from Ralph Martini in Cranbrook. My first pair I bought ftom Talley directly. If you ever decide to find a new home for the 458, drop me a pm.
