Not interested in this movie at all, just like I dont allow Disney movies in my house, especially Bambi. For the record my kids will watch hunting movies with dad ,and my 7 yr old son is the most hard core John Wayne fan I have ever met.

Having been told that to see BBM is an affront to family values, what's up with them uppity fags, no "real" man should admit to seeing it etc., I will respond the way any freedom-loving person would - I'm going to check it out this weekend.

Seriously though, why is it always okay to promote a movie (or a parade, a book, etc...) and emphasize the homosexual element/content and actually play on that for marketing and hype? Yet, if you were to do the exact same thing with a stringently hetero event of the same kind you would be ostrisized (sp?) relentlessly for ### bashing and hate mongering?

Maybe I misstated my intended message. The point I was trying to make is that while there are hetero movies, mags, etc... and YES, there are homo (non-derogatory, just shortening here so no accusations of bashing please) movies and mags too - but you don't see the media glomming onto a movie and saying "Oh my god, look at this awesome HETERO movie!!" - It is portrayed as a good movie with no reference to the ###ual preferences that happen to be portrayed. The ### is used as a marketing tool but it isn't hyped as being a HETERO movie - that would just casue an uproar of untold proportions. If you come out and publically announce something as a ### film you are politically correct, the flip-side isn't true.

ge whiz beav what's going on here i was very disappointed by brokeback mountain one of the few genras of movies that has not been infiltrated by the ever growing ### influence and then brokeback mountain comes out and yet again ###ness. it makes me want to give up and go and hide i don't have a problem with ###s or lesbians i can understand lesbians i dig chicks too but can we as breeders (their slang not mine) not have some sanctuary somewhere with something i can't turn on the television anymore without there being a ### prancing and nancying around i don't hate them i don't care enough to even have any feeling about them but i am frustrated by how the media is inindating us with these ### images
